Overview

In terms of Multi-Currency support, Cross-Org migrations deal with three different types of tenants:

  • Tenants with existing currency support.
  • Tenants with Multi-Currency support using single currency.
  • Tenants with Multi-Currency support using Multi-Currency.

The cross-org feature does not support migrations between orgs with existing currency support and orgs with Multi-Currency support. This is true for all Multi-Currency orgs, whether they use single, or multiple currencies.

The cross-org feature supports migrations between orgs with Multi-Currency support regardless of the individual orgs using single or multiple currencies. For a breakdown on what’s supported, refer to the Multi-Currency Cross-Org Migration Support Chart below.

Note: Orgs with Multi-Currency support that use multiple currencies have a system field called Currency ISO Code added to every object. Since system fields can not be migrated, items that contain the Currency ISO Code field, such as rules or reports, can not be successfully migrated to Multi-Currency orgs using a single currency.
