Multi-Currency Impact on Sally and Company Intelligence

Overview

This article explains the impacts on the Sally and Company Intelligence applications after enabling Multi-Currency. For more information about the Multi-Currency support and the associated configurations, refer to the Configure Multi-Currency Support article from the Additional Resources section.

Sally

Multi-currency is available for the users who are using Sally in Slack and In-App. It impacts the following areas in Sally:

Summary and Attributes Intents
Query All Fields (Currency fields)
Quick Insights (Reports)

Summary and Attributes

The currency value defined at the user level is displayed for the currency fields when users request information from Sally using Summary and Attributes intents. The currency code and the currency value are displayed alongside.

Note: If the user-level currency is not defined, the currency value is shown based on the defined corporate currency code.

The Currency ISO Code is also displayed if users request information from Sally using Summary intent.

Query All fields

The currency value defined at the user level is displayed for the currency fields such as ARR, MRR, Revenue, when users query all fields that are available in the Company/Relationship custom and standard objects. The currency code and the currency value are displayed alongside.

Notes:

If the user-level currency is not defined, the currency value is shown based on the defined corporate currency code.
Users with full Gainsight licenses can query for all Company/Relationship fields in order to reduce information security risks.

Quick Insights

The currency value defined at the user level is displayed for the currency fields in the Quick Insights feature to access real-time customer insights. The currency code and the currency value are displayed alongside.

Company Intelligence

Multi-Currency impacts the Companies section when currency fields are selected in Filters while configuring companies in the Company Intelligence feature. The currency value set at the record level is displayed for the currency fields such as ARR, MRR. The currency code and the currency value are displayed alongside.
