Access Enhancements

Gainsight introduces a new Access tab in user profile to help you better manage user access and training visibility. You can now view how each user received access to specific content, along with other relevant details that make it easier to answer access-related questions and support users more effectively. This update introduces several powerful enhancements:

• Track how users gained access to content whether through admin assignment, self-enrollment, group membership, learning path, or purchase.
• View and manually update access expiration dates for individual learners (available for customers using Commerce).
• Use a modernized layout to view all access details in one place, improving usability and transparency.

Note: The Access tab replaces the legacy Profile tab.

Mark Course Completed from the Enrollments Tab

Gainsight now supports the ability to manually mark a course as complete for a learner, directly from the Enrollments tab. This enhancement simplifies course management workflows by allowing administrators to update a course’s completion status without accessing each individual learning item.

To mark  a course as complete: 

1. Navigate to Content > Courses.
2. Select and click the course you want to manage.
3. Click the Enrollments tab. 
4. For the applicable learner, click the Mark as Completed icon under the Actions column.

This action marks all activities within the course as Completed, and updates course-level progress reporting.

Note: This update does not affect deeper learning data such as:

• Quiz attempts 
• SCORM completions
• Video engagement metrics

Video Engagement Insights Report

Gain deeper visibility into how learners engage with video content across your academy with the new Video Engagement Insights report.

View start and completion rates, analyze average progress, and filter data by course, video, or group, all in one centralized view. Click into videos, courses, or activities to make quick updates, and drill down into learner-level data for more detailed insights.

Modify Attendance for Multiple Registrants

We are excited to introduce a bulk attendance update feature that simplifies how you manage training attendance. Instructors can now select multiple registrants within a session and apply attendance statuses (Attended, Not Attended, or Pending) in a single action. This reduces manual effort and helps maintain accurate records more efficiently.

Zoom Meeting Integration with ILT Events

Introducing Zoom Meeting Integration for Instructor-Led Training (ILT) Events in Gainsight CE. This enhancement allows you to schedule and manage Zoom Meetings in addition to Webinars, making it easier to run interactive online sessions.

Key Benefits

• Create new Zoom sessions for online ILT events in Gainsight CE, along with importing Zoom webinars.
• Automatically track attendance for Zoom Meetings.
• Allow learners to register for Zoom Meetings from the Discover Events tab.

Note: To use this enhancement, you must reauthorize your existing Zoom integration in Gainsight CE.
