Community.png Improvements to Funnels

We are excited to introduce several improvements to Funnels, focusing on deeper insights, improved user interface, and enhanced time metrics for better analysis. The enhanced capabilities include: 

All Journey Funnel Analysis

The Funnel analysis now supports the tracking of all user journeys, in addition to the first journey through the funnel. This enhancement allows you to track and compare how users move through the funnel over multiple journeys, offering richer insights into user behavior and helping you identify opportunities for improvement.

Median Time Metrics

In addition to the average time, Funnels now display the median time to provide a better representation of how long users take through each step. This gives a clearer picture by minimizing the impact of unusually long or short times. You can view both median time from the previous step and from the first step, allowing for a more comprehensive time analysis.

UI Redesign and Funnel Enhancements

The Funnel interface has been redesigned for a cleaner, more user-friendly experience. Key updates include a streamlined header with easy access to essential actions, an improved summary ribbon, simplified color-coded legends, and a new slide-out panel for detailed user insights, ensuring clarity and ease of use.

Enhanced CSV Exports Experience

We have updated the CSV export process to handle large file downloads more efficiently. For larger files (approximately 10 MB in size), you now receive an email with a download link once the export is ready. This enhancement ensures a smoother and more streamlined experience when exporting larger datasets.

Note

  • Smaller files continue to download directly from within PX. 
  • The Download CSV link is valid for seven days from the day it was sent.
  • This enhancement is currently not available in the Funnels, In-App Performance, and Adoptions reports.

Export Users and Role Groups Data in CSV Format

The User Management feature in Gainsight PX is further enhanced with capabilities to easily export both users list and role groups in CSV format. This enhancement allows for a more streamlined way to manage user permissions and roles across your organization. The exported data can be used for deeper analysis or reporting, giving you greater control and visibility into user management.

The list of users and role groups are exported as follows:

  • Users:

Enhanced Company Details for Actionable Insights

We have updated the Company Details page under Administration to provide more actionable insights into how PX is being used across your organization. The new Utilization Summary section is designed to provide you a clearer view of platform usage, empowering more informed decisions.

The new sections include the following insights: 

  • Utilization Summary: Displays key metrics of all events tracked by your PX subscription over the selected time range.
  • Events Trend: Get a detailed breakdown of different event types across all products and environments, helping you better understand feature usage, engagements, and more.
  • Active Users: Monitor changes in the number of active users using your application tracked by PX over time, giving you insights into user engagement and adoption patterns.

The above metrics can be tracked on either a weekly or monthly basis, allowing you to observe trends over different time frames.
