Modules Widget Category
This article describes the Modules category in the Skilljar Starter widget library and the widgets it contains.
Overview
The Modules category contains widgets that connect to platform modules and display their content on the Catalog Page. The Modules widgets typically pull live content from a specific area of the platform, such as the knowledge base or events module, and present it in a configurable format on the page.
The Modules category contains the following five widgets:
- Events calendar
- Groups
- Idea pipeline
- ‘Create idea’ button
- Knowledge Base
Add a Modules Widget
To add a widget from the Modules category:
- In layout mode, click the + button on the left edge of the page.
- In the Choose a widget panel, click Modules in the category sidebar.
- Click the widget you want to insert.
- Configure the widget by selecting the source content, for example, a specific knowledge base category or event series.
- Verify the result with Preview State, then click Publish to apply the change.
