Create NPS Trend Reports

Introduction

This tutorial will walk you through the process of creating a report, to see the NPS® Trends over time. To get started, navigate to Administration > Analytics > Report Builder > + REPORT. After you create these reports, you can use this report in other consumption areas like, GS Home Dashboards, in a 360 section, or in the Gainsight widget.

Month Over Month

To create a Month Over Month report:

  1. Select NPS® as the Source object.
  2. In the Show me section, add:
  • Account ID

  1. In the By section, add:
  • Response Date: click the Settings/Gear icon and set Summarized by to Month
  • NPS® Score Type
  1. In the Filters section, set:
  • NPS® Score Type | not equals  | Null
  • NPS® Score Type | not equals  | Passive
  • Response Date equals can be set to a Custom Date range that aligns with your business requirement.
  1. Click Select Visualization Type and select the required report type (Stacked Column is shown below).
  2. Click RUN.
  3. Enter the name of your choice in the Name this Report text box.
  4. Click Save.

Quarter Over Quarter

To create a Quarter Over Quarter report, follow the same procedure as mentioned in the Month Over Month report above. You just need to make a few modifications:

  1. In the By section: set the Summarized by in the Response Date field to Quarter.
  2. In the Filters section, you can set the Response Date equals to a Custom Date range that aligns with your business requirement.

Year Over Year

To create a Year Over Year report, follow the same procedure as mentioned in the reports above. You just need to make a few modifications:

  1. In the By section: set the Summarized by in the Response Date field to Year.

  2. In the Filters section, you can set the Response Date equals to a Custom Date range that aligns with your business requirement.
