When will I no longer be able to use Email Template 1.0?
As of the January 2019 v6.10 release, you will only be allowed to view Email Template 1.0.
Will my existing Email Template 1.0 still work?
Yes, but you cannot edit or use them.
Can I edit my existing Email Template 1.0 after the v6.10 release?
Are you going to disable my Email Template 1.0 at some future date?
Yes, most probably by June 2020.
Do I have to convert my Email Template 1.0 to Email Template 2.0 now?

What resources are available to help teach me to migrate to Email Template 2.0?

There are many advantages of using Email Templates 2.0. Some of them are:
Better UI experience.
Honors text formatting added by Admins.
Support for Plain text emails.
Is there a migration utility to help me convert my Email Template 1.0 to Email Template 2.0?
Yes, the migrate button is available now for each template.
Can Email Template 2.0 do everything that Email Template 1.0 can do? (ie. Do they have feature parity?)
Yes, and 2.0 has much more when compared to 1.0 templates. For more information, refer to the Email Templates 2.0 FAQ article.
Will I encounter problems or limitations if I do not use Email Template 2.0?
Yes, you may encounter a few problems because Gainsight is not going to support 1.0 in any new features or enhancements going forward.
