PX Patch Release Notes May-June 2025
Release Date: June 27
Enhancements
Engagements
[Know More]Engagement Audit Logs
Engagements now include logs that track key lifecycle events such as when they were created, saved, launched, and more. You can filter these logs by event type or search by engagement name to view specific activities.
This enhancement provides clearer visibility into engagement changes, supports troubleshooting, and helps teams review launch history over time.
Business Use Case: A product manager preparing for a feature launch notices a discrepancy in engagement behavior during testing. Using the audit log, they can confirm when the engagement was last modified, who made the change, and whether it was launched as expected, without needing to follow up manually with the team.
Note:
- Audit logs only include the names of users who made changes to an engagement. They currently do not capture the specific details of what was changed.
- Detailed logs are available only for events that occur on or after June 25, 2025. Logs from earlier dates are not available.
For more information, refer to the Track Engagement Changes article.
Knowledge Center Bot
[Know More]Enhancements to New Knowledge Center Bot (Beta)
Building on the beta release of the new KC Bot, we have introduced the following enhancements to further streamline and enhance your bot creation experience.
Increased Group Limit for Task List and Recommendations Widgets
You can now add up to 25 Groups to the Task List and Recommendations widgets in engagements. This allows greater flexibility when targeting complex user segments or configuring multi-step onboarding flows.
Improved Community Search
The Community search capability in KC Bot is enhanced to display results only from the selected categories and product areas. If no category is selected, results are fetched only from the selected product areas. If no product area is selected, results are derived only from the selected categories. This update ensures that applied filters work as expected and produce more accurate results.
Release Date: June 9

Dashboard
[Know More]Export Dashboards as PDF or PNG
Gainsight now allows you to export dashboards and individual widgets directly to PDF or PNG, making it easier to share insights, track trends, and communicate outcomes across your organization.
Exported files include applied filters for added clarity and context, helping stakeholders understand exactly what data is being presented.
Business Use Case: Consider a scenario where your team is preparing a Quarterly Business Review (QBR) presentation for leadership. Instead of manually capturing screenshots of dashboards or widgets that often lack key context such as applied filters, you can now use the export feature to generate presentation-ready visuals.
Note: Dashboard exports are only available once all widgets have finished loading.
For more information on exporting dashboards, refer to the Configure PX Dashboards article.
