Track Engagement Changes
This article explains how to view logs that track changes to engagements in PX.
Overview
Gainsight PX provides audit logs for engagements, allowing you to view a timeline of key lifecycle events such as when an engagement was created, saved, launched, published, deleted, or archived. This feature helps teams track changes, investigate launch behavior, and maintain visibility into engagement activity over time. You can search and filter audit logs to quickly find relevant events for analysis or troubleshooting.
IMPORTANT: Audit logs are only available for events that occur on or after June 25, 2025. Events prior to this date are not logged.
Business Use Case: A product manager preparing for a feature launch notices a discrepancy in engagement behavior during testing. Using the audit log, they can confirm when the engagement was last modified, who made the change, and whether it was launched as expected, without needing to follow up manually with the team.
View Engagement Logs
Engagement logs provide insights into engagement activity and help you review launch history as needed.
To view engagement logs:
- Navigate to Engagements from the main menu.
- For the required engagement, click the three-vertical dots menu icon.
- Select View Logs.
In the Engagement Logs slide-out panel, the following actions are available:
- Hover over a log to view specific date and time details.
- Filter or select one or more lifecycle events (for instance, Published, Saved, Archived, and more).
- Search by engagement name to locate logs directly.
