This article explains about the qualification scope section in Email Engagements.
The Qualification scope of an Email engagement determines the number of times users receive the Email engagement. It is essential for you to understand the various qualification scopes provided by Gainsight PX for an Email engagement, to use the appropriate scope.
This article explains all the Qualification scopes available for an Email engagement.
Gainsight PX provides three types of Qualification scope for an Email Engagement.
This Qualification Scope delivers the Email only once in a lifetime, to all qualified users.
In the above scenario, the Email is delivered between 17 Oct 2019 to 30 Nov 2019, on Mondays at 9 am. All the qualified users receive the Email on 21 Oct (Monday) at 9 am. If you modify your Audience rules on 22 Oct 2019, to include more users, the newly added users receive the Email on 28 Oct 2019, at 9 am. The users who have already received the mail previously, will not receive the mail again on 28 Oct 2019.
This Qualification Scope sends an Email multiple times based on the Schedule set.
In the above scenario, the Email is sent on every Monday at 9 am from 17 Oct 2019 to 30 Nov 2019.
However, if the Recurring schedule is not used, the Email is sent only once, as in the following scenario.
This Scope sends Email multiple times during a specific time period. You can choose the time period in hours, days, weeks, or months.
In the above scenario, the Email is sent on Monday, 21 Oct 2019, at 9 am. The next Monday in the series 28 Oct 2019 is skipped (since once every two weeks is selected). The next Email should be sent again on 4 Nov 2019 (Monday) at 9 am. However, since the schedule expires on 30 Nov 2019, no Email is sent on 2 Dec, 2019. The Email would have been sent if a schedule expiry date was set to 2 Dec, 2019 or any later date.
Gainsight PX limits the number of emails to 20 per contact during a 7 day period.
