E-commerce capabilities

We are thrilled to announce Commerce capabilities in Gainsight's Customer Education platform, making it easier than ever for learners and admins to manage, purchase, and sell educational content like courses, learning paths, Instructor-Led Training (ILT), and bundles.

Key Features for Admins:

• Payment Gateway: The Gainsight CE platform integrates with Stripe, enabling smooth and seamless transactions.

• Course Monetization: Monetize courses, learning paths, instructor-led training, and bundles. 
• Coupons and Promotions Code: Admins can create coupons and promo codes to boost sales and increase revenue.
• Purchase and Sales Management: Admins can oversee and manage purchases for teams, including the ability to track order history for sales analysis. This ensures that the right content is assigned to the appropriate learners while offering insights into sales trends.

Key Features for Learners:

• Flexible Commerce Options: Learners can purchase individual courses, curated learning paths, or comprehensive bundles that may include Instructor-Led Training (ILT) sessions.
• Streamlined Checkout Process: Enjoy a seamless and secure purchasing experience with Stripe, allowing for quick payments and immediate access to educational content.
• Promotions and Discounts: Apply promo codes at checkout to unlock discounts and special offers.
• Flexible Access Options: Choose from different content access durations—whether short-term or lifetime access.
• Bulk Purchase: Streamline the process of purchasing courses, learning paths, Instructor-Led Training (ILT), and bundles for multiple team members or students in a single transaction, simplifying bulk purchases and saving time.

AI Captions for Videos

The new AI Captions capability in Gainsight CE enables users to generate captions for videos stored in the Media Library. This functionality enhances web accessibility, allowing end-users to better engage with video content.

Overview:

• Purpose: Helps admins to generate captions for video content, improving accessibility and adapting to diverse learning preferences.
• Location: Available in the Content > Media Library section of the Gainsight CE platform.
• Opt-In: Users must manually trigger caption generation. No captions are generated unless explicitly initiated. Admins have control over access to AI features through an on/off toggle.
