Media Library Basics
Overview
This article explains how to upload files and manage content. The Media Library, found in the Content tab, keeps all your assets in one place for easy content creation. Managing the library ensures only approved and up-to-date assets are available.
Use the search bar and filters to quickly find what you need in your library.
Supported file types
- Documents - 200MB file size limit
doc, docx, pdf, pdf, ppt, pptx - Video - 5GB file size limit
3gp, avi, flv, m4v, mov, mp4, ogg, webm, wmv - SCORM 1.2
zip
Upload files to Media Library
- Click Upload.
- Select the file/files to be uploaded into the Media Library and select Open.
Note: Remove the special characters from the file name. - Once all of the files are successfully loaded, click Save.
- The file/files will display in the table and information about the Asset Type, Status, and the date and time of the most recent modification. A status of Ready signifies that the file is available for use within courses.
- Once the file has been uploaded, you have the ability to Delete, Edit, Replace, or Download the corresponding asset by clicking the three dots found under the Actions column.
