Integrate Zoomin with Gainsight PX

This article explains how to integrate Zoomin knowledge base content with Gainsight PX.

Overview 

Gainsight PX offers an integration with Zoomin which allows you to search and view knowledge base content using the PX Knowledge Center Bot.

Prerequisite 

Ensure that you have the required API tokens to complete the integration. Reach out to your Zoomin administrator to obtain the tokens. 

Integrate Zoomin

To fetch knowledge base content from Zoomin into KC Bot, you must first create a connection between the two. 

To configure the integration between Gainsight PX and Zoomin:

  1. In Gainsight PX, navigate to Administration >INTEGRATIONS > Integrations.
  2. In the Knowledge Center Integrations section, click the Settings icon on the Zoomin card.

  3. In the Zoomin Integration window, enter the following information: 
    1. Api Base URL (Aud): The Zoomin URL for your organization. 
    2. Issuer (iss): The URL of your corporate web site. This is used to identify the organization issuing the authentication.
    3. User Information: Gainsight recommends to provide the following information of your Zoomin administrator or a user that has access to the Zoomin content: 
      1. Subscriber (sub): Email address of the user accessing the API. 
      2. Zoomin Role: Role of the user.
      3. Full Name: Name of the user.
    4. Shared Secret: The API key obtained from your Zoomin administrator.
  4. Click Apply to authenticate and complete the integration.

Fetch Zoomin Content in KC Bot 

Upon successful completion of the integration, you can configure KC Bot to use Zoomin as the default knowledge base to fetch content. 

To enable Zoomin in KC Bot:

  1. Navigate to the required Knowledge Center Bot.
  2. In Editor, click the Search tab.
  3. In the Knowledge Base section, select Zoomin.

  4. Click Save. End-users can now search and view content from the Zoomin knowledge base directly in the bot.
