What improvements were introduced in the most recent beta update on 13 May, 2025?
  • Widgets
    • Feedback Widget Support: The Feedback widget is now available to collect user input directly within the bot experience. Any feedback submitted from the bot is recorded in the Knowledge Center Analytics .
    • Task List Order Completion: You can choose to enforce the order of the task list, so users must complete tasks step by step. This setting activates one task at a time, based on the completion of the previous task, and keeps the remaining steps unavailable until the previous one is completed.
  • Bot Editor
    • Update Content Details from Bot Editor: Display name, description, and preview images can now be edited directly from the bot editor. These updates are synced automatically with the content library.
    • Thumbnail and Card Navigation: In addition to using navigation arrows, users can now click the slick dots below the thumbnail or card carousel to jump directly to specific sections.
    • Improved Image Handling for Thumbnails: To improve visual clarity, we have introduced the following enhancements:
      • The image container height for thumbnails has been increased from 153 to 189 pixels to better fit a 16:9 aspect ratio for thumbnails and a 4:3 aspect ratio for cards.
      • Images are cropped  in height (not stretched) to fit the container.
  • Updates to List Pages
    • Additional Content’s Meta: The Content Library tab now includes the following metadata for each content: Created By, Created On, and Last Modified By.
Note: The information for Created By  is available starting with this patch. For older content created prior to this release, the creator will appear as Admin due to the absence of historical data.
    • Double-Click to Edit Bots: You can now double-click a bot's name to enter edit mode. Single-click continues to open the preview.
What happens to my existing bots?

Existing bots remain unchanged and continue to function as they do.

Will my existing bots be automatically migrated to the new bot model?

There is currently no auto-migration. To use the new bot and provide the updated bot experience within your product, you need to create a new bot.

How do I edit the display name of a content item?

In Content Library, use the Display Name field to rename a content item. This update applies across all bots using that content.  Alternatively, to update the Display name from the editor, click the edit icon against the content to modify Display Name, Description, and image.

How can I set a gradient background?

Gradient backgrounds are available by default, and there is currently no customization available for gradients.

Can I resize the bot?

The bot size is currently fixed. Future updates may allow the height to adjust dynamically based on the content added and the user's browser window.

Is the bot still draggable?

Yes. You can turn on or off the Draggable option to control whether the bot can be moved or not. This option is available under Configure > Design > Position.

Can I make smaller UI tweaks, such as modifying the progress bar color or setting a custom corner radius?

Colors are now consolidated into a few options to simplify and streamline updates across the bot. Corner radius for each widget is inherited from Configure > Design > Theme > Corners.

Will I be able to modify the CSS?

No, CSS customization is currently not available.

Is localization supported?

No, localization is currently not available in the Beta release.

Will CE integration be included?
