Knowledge Center Bot Analytics

This article explains how to view the detailed analytics of any Knowledge Center Bot.

Overview

KC Bot Analytics provides a comprehensive view of how users engage with the bot. It helps you track overall usage, article and engagement views, search effectiveness, task list performance, and more. This enables you to measure both content relevance and user progress across different flows and user segments.

Knowledge Center Bot Analytics

To view KC Bot analytics:

  1. From the main menu, navigate to Analytics.
  2. In the ENGANEMENTS section, click Knowledge Center. A list view of KC Bots is displayed.
  3. Select the required bot to view detailed analytics.
  4. (Optional) Select the date range to filter the required data.
  5. (Optional) Click the right arrow to access the remaining four widgets.

Bot analytics has eight components that are represented by their respective widgets. The widgets for each component display the time series view of the analytics during the selected time frame. 

Click each widget to drill down for more detailed insights as follows:

Widget Name

Description

Drill-down Data (if available)

Bot Interactions

Displays the number of times the bot was opened and closed.

View date-wise data of users that interacted with bot.

Engagement Views

Displays how many times users have viewed engagements from within the bot.

View the list of engagements triggered from the bot, along with the users who viewed them.

Article Views

Shows the number of views for articles accessed through the bot, filtered by hosted or linked articles.

View user-level insights for each article.

Web Link Views

Displays the number of times users have viewed web links added to the bot.

View list of web links accessed, along with the users who viewed them.

Feedback Submitted

Tracks feedback submitted by users using the Feedback widget.

View list of feedback submitted across categories, along with user information.

Searches

Displays how often users search from the bot.

View which keywords are being searched, which results were clicked, and which users clicked them.

Recommendation Views

Displays the number of times a recommended content is viewed by a qualifying audience.

View the list of content accessed, along with details of users who viewed it.

Task List Activity

View how many users qualified by seeing the task list, how many are in progress (started at least one task), and how many completed all tasks.


 

View the following data for each task list accessed:

  • Total Users: Users who viewed the task list during the selected date range.
  • Users in Progress: Users who viewed at least one task, regardless of how or where the task was accessed (through the bot or independently). This is measured based on centralized tracking of task interactions across the product, with activity tracked from up to 365 days before the selected start date.
  • Users Completed: Users who viewed all tasks in the task list within the selected date range, regardless of where the tasks were accessed from.
