Gainsight NXT Patch Release Notes: Version 6.17.X series

This document contains information about issues that were resolved in patch releases of the 6.17 version.

Note: Releases are not always contiguous, and do not always contain customer-facing issues or enhancements.

Version 6.17.P1 (Patch), Sept 9, 2020

Issues Addressed

There are no enhancements or new features shipped via this patch release. A few important issues which are addressed and fixed in this release are documented under this section.

Surveys

  • Color customization is not getting honored in the Survey Section Construct: Previously, some of the users who customized the colors and fonts in the Section construct and saved it didn’t see the colors and fonts as expected, in the preview mode. This issue is now resolved.

  • Survey Flattened Object-Null is getting honored as Empty String: In the Survey Flattened Object, when there are no responses in any of the fields, it was honored as Empty String instead of Null. Hence, when users try filtering the Null values and run the report, it didn’t display the results as expected. This issue is now resolved.

  • Space Issue in Emails Sent from Timeline: Previously, when an email is shared from the Timeline, some users could see extra spaces between the lines of an email. This issue is now resolved.
  • Japanese characters not accepted for Scorecards and measure names: Previously, Japanese characters were not supported in scorecard names as the field only accepts English characters. This issue is fixed now.

  • Issue with filtering the date field on Mass Edit Reports: Previously, users could not filter the inline search for the date field. This issue is fixed now.

  • Login through Salesforce is redirecting to a blank page: Previously, some of the users who tried logging-in through Salesforce were redirected to the blank page instead of the Timeline page. This issue is now resolved.

  • Blank page is displayed when IOS users login through SSO Authentication: Previously, the IOS users who successfully completed the SSO authentication were redirected to the blank page instead of the Timeline page. This issue is now resolved.

  • Issue with Outlook Calendar connection: Previously, users couldn’t access Outlook, even after the admin provided the required permissions to users, for Outlook Calendar connection. This issue is now resolved.

  • Issue with Company Merge failed notification: Previously, in the Web App, when users try merging two companies that have special characters in their names encountered an error. Hence, in  Mobile App, users used to get separate notification for each of these companies. This issue is now resolved.
