Custom Fiscal Year Templates
The Custom Fiscal Year feature in Gainsight helps admins define a fiscal year that matches the needs of the organization.
Business Use Case: Companies that work on custom fiscal periods often have difficulty to present their reports or build their rules on financial data. To avoid complex workaround and approximations, companies can leverage custom fiscal period setting to define a tailored fiscal year structure.
Gainsight provides the following two templates for a custom fiscal year setup:
Four Quarters Per Year, 13 Weeks Per Quarter
Choose this template if your organization’s calendar requires the same number of weeks per quarter.
This template has the following three formats:
4-4-5 Calendar
This calendar consists of four quarters made up of 13 weeks each. Each of the 13 weeks can be distributed as two months of four weeks each and one month of five weeks.
