Allow Logging of AI Follow-Up Activities with Inactive Meeting Activity Type

AI Follow-Up activities are now logged with the Meeting activity type, even when that activity type is turned off in Administration > Timeline > Activity Types. This lets Admins restrict the use of Meeting activity type with manual activity logging, while AI Follow-Up Activities log seamlessly. These automatically logged activities remain editable by the activity owner or any user with the appropriate permissions.

What’s Changed

Previously, AI Follow-Up activities were not logged unless the Meeting activity type was enabled under Timeline Administration > Activity Types. When the Meeting activity type was turned off, it caused silent failures without notifying users.

Now, the logging works independently of the manual logging configuration.

• All meeting-related AI Follow-Up insights are logged, ensuring data completeness.
• Admins can keep the Meeting activity type turned off for manual logging when needed, without affecting AI Follow-Up activity logging.
