Stakeholders

This article explains how to configure key customer stakeholder roles—such as Champion, Decision Maker, or Executive Sponsor—and define global touch frequencies (e.g., weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly) to ensure consistent engagement and power insights like heat maps.

Staircase helps you ensure you're talking to your key clients at the desired cadence. In order to help Staircase understand that desired cadence for those key roles, use this configuration page to create your stakeholder roles (like Champion, Decision Maker, Executive Sponsor) and identify how often you want your team in touch with a each client persona.

Step 1

Login in, click the settings cog on the left side panel, open configurations and click 'stakeholders'

Step 2

Add all desired stakeholder roles by clicking to 'add stakeholder role' and entering the role name.

Step 3

Under the touch frequency column, click for each role type and select 'weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly' for the desired touch cadence. This will fuel your insights and heat map.
