Updated API Pagination
Skilljar has enhanced the API pagination settings to align more closely with industry standards, improving the performance, consistency, and reliability for all Skilljar API users.
Key Benefits
- No changes are required if you already follow standard pagination practices.
- This enhancement is backward-compatible and is non-breaking.
- Existing API limits or the total number of permitted requests remain unchanged, and the default page size remains 100 items per page.
- The maximum page size for all requests has been reduced from 10,000 to 1,000 items per page.

Complete Content Action
The new Complete Content action enables you to automatically mark selected courses or paths as complete based on a specified trigger. This helps you quickly close out progress for learners who have already mastered the material or need to be moved forward in their journey.
How it works
- If a learner has an active enrollment, the course, path, or path is marked complete.
- If the learner does not have an enrollment, they are enrolled and immediately marked complete (both actions have the same timestamp).
- Only course-level progress is updated; lesson progress remains unchanged.
This is ideal for workflows where completion is used as a signal rather than a reflection of actual content consumption, such as syncing with external systems or advancing learners in automation-based learning paths.
The Complete Content is available under Skilljar Actions > Completion Actions, and can be triggered on any completion event, such as Complete, Pass, or Fail.
