Smarter Dashboard Homepage - Coming Soon
Overview
IMPORTANT: Once the redesigned dashboard homepage is generally available, all customer dashboards are automatically updated.
The Skilljar homepage has been redesigned to provide a more intuitive experience and give administrators quicker access to academy performance data. The new layout combines core management tools and performance analytics into a unified interface, making it easier to manage and optimize your academy from one central view.
The new homepage allows you to get quick insights on the following:
- Track Academy Trends
- Continue Editing
- Fine Tune Your Courses
Track Academy Trends
Get at-a-glance visibility into learner activity:
- View the number of enrollments and completions over the past three months.
- Analyze trends with data displayed in a clear bar chart.
- Access to the full enrollment report for more detailed views.
Continue Editing
This section consists of the following:

Displays a list of recently updated courses with:

Course name
-
Last updated date
-
- You can select a course name to edit, or click Create New Course to start a new one.
Fine Tune Your Courses
This section provides the list of courses with low activity. The courses with the fewest enrollments are displayed at the top of the list. While the Courses with no enrollment are displayed at the bottom of the list. This enables proactive engagement improvements.
Note
For users without Global Admin permissions, RBAC restrictions apply as follows:
- Track Academy Trends and Continue Editing: Requires Courses access
- Fine Tune Your Courses: Requires Analytics and Courses Access
- Track Academy trends and Fine tune sections respect the Course Object-level Access restrictions for the user
- Users without the appropriate access view an empty screen for that section
