Setting a Video Thumbnail
If you have uploaded a video to Skilljar, the thumbnail image used for the video will be created from the 10th second of your video.
This applies to videos you've uploaded to Skilljar only. If you embed a video from YouTube, Vimeo, Kaltura, Ooyala, or another platform, the thumbnail can only be edited on your hosting platform.
Setting a custom thumbnail image
- Navigate to the lesson with a video via Course Management.
- Click Edit Video Thumbnail below the video by expanding "Content"
- On the screen that pops-up, choose 'browse' to upload your own image.
