Gainsight NXT
Overview
This article explains how Admins can configure the Attributes section of the C360/R360 pages. Admins can add Attributes to the C360/R360 configuration page and configure the fields in it. You can add all the fields present in Company/Relationship Object and the fields to which Company/Relationship Object has a lookup to, in the Attributes section of the C360/R360 pages respectively. CSMs can view and edit fields from the C360/R360 page, based on the permissions set by Administrators.
The Attributes section of the C360/R360 configuration page allows Admins to add fields from the Company/Relationship object respectively. Admins can also add multiple instances of Attributes section and add required fields in each instance of the Attributes section.
Note: The below configuration is explained using C360, and the configuration for R360 remains same.
Add Attributes section to Selected sections
To configure the Attributes section, you must first add it to the Selected sections section. By default, the Attributes section is displayed on the LOCAL pane of the Available sections. You can drag and drop it from this to the Selected sections. If you add the Attributes section from the LOCAL pane, configuration in the section is blank and you will have to apply configurations as required.
However, if you have added Attributes section to the Global Sections section, you can find Attributes section on the GLOBAL pane as well. If you add the Attributes section from the GLOBAL pane, Global section configurations are applied in the current layout. For more information about Global and Local sections in C360 and R360, refer the Configure the Customer360 Sections and Configure R360 Page and Section Types articles respectively.
To add the Attributes section to the Selected sections:
- Navigate to Administration > Company.
- Click the C360 LAYOUTS tab.
- Expand the Company Layouts section (if not expanded).
- Click the EDIT icon for the required layout. For more information about how to handle multiple Layouts in C360 and R360, refer the Create and Assign Multiple C360 Layouts and Create and Assign Multiple R360 Layouts articles respectively.
Note: To add a Attributes Section to R360 page, navigate to Administration > Relationships > TYPES > Select a Relationship Type > LAYOUTS.
- Drag and drop the Attributes section from the Available sections in either LOCAL or GLOBAL left pane to the Selected sections.
- (Optional) Click the edit icon to rename the Attributes section.
Note: You can de-couple a Global Attributes section and make changes to its configuration as required. For more information, refer to the Global and Local 360 Sections article.
After you add the Attributes section to Selected sections, CSMs can view it on the C360/R360 pages. You can now add fields to the Attributes section.
Add Fields to the Attributes Section
After you add the Attributes section to the Selected Sections, you can now add any field from the Company/Relationship object and lookup fields from the dependent objects for the CSMs to see them on the C360/R360 pages.

Add Multiple Attribute Sections
Admins can also add multiple instances of the Attributes section and add required fields in each instance of the Attributes section. For instance, in one of the Attribute instances you can add all the financial fields like ARR, MRR, etc and name it as Financial Attributes and in another instance you can have Customer residence detail fields like Billing Address, City, State, etc. The procedure to add and configure the section remains the same as discussed above.
