Within Administration > Calls to Action (CTA) > General Settings, you may encounter a message stating “Server Error” when you attempt to link an object.

Root Cause: This error is usually observed when your user profile does not have the “modify all” and “Customize app” permissions.

Resolution

  1. Navigate to My Profile in Salesforce. (depending on your permissions, you may need to contact your SFDC Admin to complete this step)
  2. Click My Settings.
  3. In “My Settings”, click on “Advanced user details” and click on “Profile.”

  1. Upon clicking “Profile”, it takes you directly to the user profile page.
  2. Select “Modify All Data” and “Customize Application,” and save the profile to fix this issue.
